Perhaps this is why the first 15 pages are a history of the life and times of William Shakespeare, which helps set everything in the proper tone, and allows the student to see things from Shakespeare's point of view. If you are having trouble understanding the full-impact of these plays or studying other Shakespearian works, this will assist you in your endeavors. Thus, I highly recommend this book in this format.
